Rock formation is unique; caves were rare experience, lunch was adequate but… coach ride too, too long.

  2. Sita_D

I went with my brother-in-law so that we could see some of the countryside and the whole tour was excellent.
The bus was on-time with the pick up and comfortable. Great driver, Glenn who was very informative and attentive throughout the day.

Viator often offer up to 20% off via a purchase through topcashback. Had a great trip but do not expect to get your cashback. I have booked 3 different trips at different times. They riggle out of paying every time. Don’t be fooled or rely on these kind of offers working out.

  4. Ron_J

The trip was OK, but I guess I was expecting more from the rock. The Aussie lunch, wasn’t really Aussie – teriyaki chicken and rice with some salads. The bus broke down and we didn’t get to goto the cave.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Wave Rock. Very interesting and impressive. James was an excellent tour guide, knowledgeable and entertaining. Thanks.

  6. Kenneth_M

James was an excellent guide for us. Knowledgeable, tactful, patient, and had a great sense of humour even though some of the Dad jokes were groaners. This just added to the uniqueness of the wave Rock and the cultural and geographic history of the area. Well done James.

Wave Rock was amazing to see, so pleased we made the booking.
Our tour guide Anton was very informative and we learnt a lot, thank you.

It’s a long day with lots of travel, BUT hey, it is definitely worth it. Ignore the negative nellies with regards to the ‘dinner’ stop on the way home. You are in the middle of no where in WA for goodness sake, the food stop is more than ok. Our driver / tour guide Glenn was brilliant, loads of info. A great day discovering more of Australia & it’s culture.

We were given inaccurate pick up information on our ticket and when we arrived at the time and location stated on the ticket, we found that the tour operators had already left without us because they had changed the pick up time. We made every effort to try and join them halfway at our own cost or even join any other tour but they didn’t facilitate this for us at all. We asked for a refund but both Viator and the tour operators refused this. Viator responded to my email initially but has since then lazily copy pasted their first response or ignored my emails. Not only was it a horrible and stressful day that spoiled our vacation, but we still have yet to receive our money back. Very very disappointed at their customer service.

    Beautiful and amazing trip.
    Friendly and excellent tour guide.
Must have this tour when in Perth WA.

I was picked up and dropped off at my hotel, which was very convenient. The guide was friendly and shared interesting information along the way. The Waverock is very impressive and well worth visiting. We also visited several other interesting rock formations in the area. Lunch was tasty and ample.

Great tour Chris our bus driver was very knowledgeable and kept us well informed of where we were going and the history. Just the right amount of time at each stop didn’t feel rushed. Would highly recommend.

  14. SiewPing_K

Magnificent work of Mother Nature. Have to see it to really appreciate the beauty of Wave Rock. Would recommend this trip

  15. Samantha_C

The Wave Rock itself is just breathtaking. Nathan was just wonderful, knowledgeable and kept us well informed on the history & where we were going. The hotel pick up & drop off are a welcome addition to the tour. Definitely worth the long drive

  16. SAMUEL_W

Very well done. Paul was very informative and friendly. It was nice to have a small group to go to the various sites. Wave rock was definitely worth the trip. The cave was also fascinating.

Commentary and enthusiasm of “coach captain”, climbing wave rock. Enjoying the scenery and variation from travel through the Pilbara

York is a town rich in 19th century architecture. The stop here was for a coffee and toilet break so you have to rush to photograph the architecture.
New Norcia is an amazing town and monastery. The stop here was for a lunch and toilet break so the tour was only 45 minutes. We got to see the schools’ chapels, which are grander than the abbey church.
Wave Rock is fascinating. While you face the rock wall and see the curves due to erosion, you also climb the rock and get a view of the surrounding region. The climb is moderately easy but you are well rewarded by views and the habitats on the rock itself.
The guide was knowledgeable and gave a comprehensive account of the history, economy, society and politics of Western Australia.

Fantastic experience. The guide Sue was great and she loves what she does. Loyal to customers and loyal to place she work

Wave Rock is amazing! It looks so spectacular from the bottom and also from the top. We didn’t see many wildflowers probably because we were too focused on the rocks and caves. The commentary by driver/guide Luke was comprehensive and really informative to help participants understand the history and culture of Perth. He is a walking search engine who could answer any questions raised. Australian-style bbq chicken lunch was delicious and my kids love it.
