Francisco was an amazing guide. He gave a good orientation to the Alfama neighborhood and explained all of the tastings beautifully. He was funny and personable. The tastings themselves were excellent! A lot of food and wine from very special locally owned establishments. Would be happy to do the tour again and would recommend to any of my friends or family!

Our tour guide Francisco was incredible. He was warm and so informative about Lisbon and the culture. The trip was so much fun! We started at a great meeting place with a beautiful view. We worked our way through the oldest neighborhood of Lisbon. The tour only supports local restaurants. The food was fabulous and the wine and beer were plentiful as well. What a wonderful way to learn about the food and culture of Lisbon!

He gave us a very thorough explanation of each dish and drink – you only eat at quaint, family-owned restaurants. We got to explore the Alfama district also, passing through narrow, cobbled streets.
