This has been on my bucket list for a long time so when I discovered Rockingham encounters ,I had to book a trip. I was not disappointed. The trip itself was very well organised. Staff are very friendly & informative. Light lunch of fresh fruit platter & wraps are provided along with unlimited water, tea coffee hot chocolate.
Once the skipper spots a group of dolphins, it’s all go to get us into the water quickly,quietly & efficiently so maximise the experience.
To be in the water & have wild dolphins swim beside & below you is the most amazing experience. My group was also very lucky to have 2 babies swim with their mums , a 1 month old calf & a 12mth calf!! I was overwhelmed when I came so close to the babies. Everyone left the water with huge smiles on their faces!.
The tour length is purely dependent on dolphin activity as they dont get fed to keep them near the boat. They will stay for as long as they want and if they do love on, the skipper will search for another group .

My wet suit was way too big it was uncomfortable and I felt very foolish in it embarrassed even, my friends also commented on the fact that I was offered another one but then that option was taken away and helped me role the arms and legs up. But the body of the wet suit was also so loose I could fit both my arms in it. Please take care when outfitting people. My size and shape are a continuous burden to me I am not even 5 foot and due to medication I have put on a lot of weight in a very short time and I hate it. I know that when talking about the wonderful experience I had, a dream come true, there will also be the memory of feeling self-conscious and a little embarrassed. every thing else was perfect and the staff were so nice, Thank you.

What an amazing day! How special to experience magical interactions with dolphins in the wild in a way that was respectfully managed with their well being in mind. Loved that this is a local family business and the friendly helpful staff. I was looking for a special day with my daughter and this exceeded expectations. Thank you.
