I cannot say enough about this trip. Matt was an exceptional guide, and all the sites we visited were outstanding. Matt has a good sense of humor, gave options if we wanted one thing over another, and has a very thorough knowledge of the area. Certainly one of the best tours I’ve ever been on! We had an exciting and fun day with Matt on this trip. Matt has extensive knowledge of the wildlife, wilderness and of all the beautiful places we saw. The beaches we visited were hidden gems. We had delicious seafood, experienced amazing lookouts and the treks were adventurous. Thanks Matt, for this wonderful experience.

We had a fantastic day with Matt. We got to see Aboriginal rock carvings, learn about scribbly gums, and watch Matt sample some termites, hah. Walking up to a beautiful overlook of Berowra Valley was fun, and we learned about native plants like grass trees, including their uses (glue from grass trees–very cool!). Our kids loved Walkabout Park, especially the chance to do an echidna “speed date.” We also stopped to see the Sea Cliff Bridge. Our visits to Pearl Beach and Avoca Beach were amazing. The kids loved the chance to play on the sand! The surf was high and wild, so we weren’t able to explore the rock pools as Matt had hoped, but it was still something to see the waves smashing against Shark Island. We even saw migrating whales in the distance! He was so patient with all of us and was both knowledgeable and gregarious. Highly recommend this experience!

There is so much beautiful nature just an hour from Sydney! We would do this tour again in a heartbeat and would recommend it to our friends and family. This intimate guided tour of the outskirts of Sydney is the ideal way to see the local gems of the greater Sydney area (not the typical tourist traps). This tour is unique in that Matt customizes the day and activities to your interests. Matt is so passionate and knowledgeable about nature and wild life which really added to our experience. By the end of the trip we felt like Matt was our friend, and would 110% would recommend this tour to anyone in the area. We love you Matt!

We took a cruise that went to multiple stops in New Zealand and Australia and out of all of the trips that we booked this was by far the best one. If you are likely only going to visit Australia once in your life then this tour will give you the authentic Aussie experience. Matt’s knowledge of the areas is very impressive and gave us an unforgettable experience seeing native animals and showing us views that exceeded our expectations. The tour is also very accommodating and can be adjusted to if you want to do specific things or you can take Matt’s recommendations and will not be disappointed.

Matt’s knowledge of flora and the Wilderness is truly outstanding. The highlights of his tour included garnet colored resin from tree sap – foliage that turns to soap and the super pit stop at the chocolate factory. We had ample time for swimming at Avoca beach. This was truly an exceptional tour.

What an amazing experience! Matt was such a genuine person. He was not only nice, he made sure to let us know this was our trip. He didn’t randomly take us places. He made suggestions and asked if we wanted to do something. We got a little carried away with the kangaroos and he patiently waited for us to decide to move on. He was so excited to show us different places and explain them. The places he took us were absolutely gorgeous. The lunch we had was the best we had the entire time we were in Australia. The car was immaculately clean and I never once got nervous with his driving. Both y daughter and myself thought he was the best tour guide we had in two weeks. The pictures he took and sent to us were fabulous (and free) The communication prior to the trip was extremely prompt. We were so happy that he didn’t have a specific agenda and that he truly wanted this to be a personal experience. He is a natural at being a tour guide. Thank you again for a wonderful day Matt.
