Great way to spent a day in Ireland. Because if weather couldn’t see the Cliffs from the sea but still visited the island and it was very pleasant. Funny and informative tour guide.

  2. Bill_T

Despite off-and-on rain, our coach driver and tour guide “John” made the entire trip fun, informative, relaxing and safe. My wife and I enjoyed this trip tremendously!

We had an awesome time exploring Inis Oírr and the Cliffs of Moher. Our tour guide knew the islanders well and set up trolley or tractor tours for us to see much of the island and hear its history from a local. I wish we’d gotten more time at the island vs. the cliffs.

  4. Suraj_C

A great and wondrous experience, filled with sights and places so rare and unique on this earth. This was made even better by our guide, John!

  5. Levi_W

Our bus driver, John, was a great host and tour guide. The trip on the whole was more motion sickness inducing than we expected but the views and overall experience were very much worth it.

Definitely best part of our trip to Ireland. John is a great guide! And the place itself is incredibly beautiful!

I booked this trip for my mom! John was our driver and guide. He was super knowledgeable and friendly!
We were in luck with amazing weather! Everything was timely and organized! I couldn’t think of a way to make it better!

  8. MARY_B

The island and the cliffs were beautiful. It didn’t hurt that the day was spectacular, sunny and clear. Our guide and driver, John was great. The day was very organized and everything was on time. I would certainly recommend this tour.

Alan and his 9 year old son Nathan were great tour guides, particularly on the very rainy day we got. Their charisma and great Irish humour kept our spirits up despite our clothes being soaked from the rain. We even got a surprise performance from Nathan of a traditional Irish song.

The vies are amazing. The guide was excellent.
I rented a bicycle on the Island and explored it by myself, had a lot of fun.

Because of the weather the ferry boat was cancelled so we were unable to go to the isles of aran or see the cliffs from the sea. We were disappointed but could not resemble so instead we stayed on the tour which visited the Caves and then the cliffs but just by land . The weather was shocking and I think they did the best they could with the tour under the circumstances but of course disappointing not to go to aran isles .

This day trip from Galway was wonderful. Our drive was Alan with his assistant/joke critic Nathan. The drive was around an hour but did feel that long with the driver’s interesting stories and jokes. The bus was also comfortable.
Well on the island we had time for a tour by horse-drawn cart and to get lunch at a local pub.
The best part of the trip was the Cliffs of Moher. Wow. The ferry went passed the bottom of the cliffs for an amazing view and then we got to walk around the tops. The visitor center is nice, but it’s better to spend the time walking along the cliffs. Even if the weather isn’t ideal.
It was cold and very rainy while we were there, but that just meant we mostly had the place to ourselves. It was wonderful. I absolutely would do it again.

Great tour and awesome guide (John)! I was struggling to figure out how to see the Aran islands and Cliffs if Moher all in one day alone and this tour completely solved that issue for me. It was a relief to have it planned out instead of having to figure it out myself as I went and hope I got to everything. Our guide, John, was really great, very funny, and super helpful getting us set up with bikes when we got to Inisheer. My one qualm was I felt like I wanted/needed more time on Inisheer. I felt a bit rushed to try and see everything there and would loved more time. I also could have done with slightly less time at the Cliffs, so maybe just a restructuring of time would make this tour awesome. Would definitely recommend though if you only have one day available and want to see everything!

Firstly, a delightful and charismatic guide.
Knowledgable, and familiar with every tiny detail.
The weather was a bit iffy, so we deliberated on the route down the coast but stuck to the itinery.
I felt well looked after even on the teeny country roads.
From start to finish this was a delight.
So much to see and we didn’t have to worry about a single detail. Our guide made suggestions for one the island and it was perfect. Even the lunch stop.
My friend and I had to leave the tour at the Cliffs at 4:30pm as out next accommodation was further south and it was not a problem at all.
I could not have asked for better.
Such a memorable experience. And we’d been on a tour with the same company the day before, so arriving for the second one, were greeted with such warmth.

John is a knowledgeable and personable tour guide who treated us to excellent history of the areas. We thoroughly enjoyed the tiny island of Innisheer and it is impossible to explain the grandeur of the Cliffs of Moher gradually coming into view from the ferry. Wonderful tour. We also liked Cong, since we watched The Quiet Man prior to our visit to Ireland. Viator booked us fabulous day tours!

Hopped on the coach around 8:45am to depart on our tour! We had John as our driver who was a blast! As we made our way to Doolin we stopped briefly at Muiriuch Thaithe for photos of the coastline! From there we made our way to Doolin and hopped on the ferry. The ride was not choppy and there’s various indoor/outdoor seating options. Upon arriving on Inisheer we opted to take a tour of the island via a tractor cart – our driver was very friendly and answered any questions! There’s a few dining options for lunch – we made our way to the Hotel for a pint of Guinness and had a club sandwich and veggie burger – loved to see vegetarian options available! We headed back to the ferry and took a tour of the cliffs from the water – sit on the right side for the best views! Once we boarded the coach again we arrived at the top of the cliffs and enjoyed the windy views! The drive back to Galway was full of twists and turns but was enjoyable! Loved driving through Lisdoonvarna to see the Matchmaker bar! Highly recommend this tour – it was the highlight of our trip!

It was such a wonderful experience. I definitely enjoyed the trip even if it was raining when we visited the Inisheer island. However, when we went to the Cliffs of Moher, the rain had already stopped. The place was so lovely and I was able to witness the beautiful sunset before we left. Such a memorable experience. Our driver/guide, John, was very good in giving us informations about the sites we had passed by along the way. Highly recommended.

This was such a great way to experience some top attractions if you dont have a car! Getting to go to innisheer Island and learn about their culture and history was so wonderful. We were given the choice of renting bikes, or taking a horse and wagon or tractor ride in order to tour the Island. It was pouring rain so getting to take a tour via Wagon was a blessing. Our lunch on the Island was also very delicious! I will mention though that The boat ride there was in no way a “cruise” it was a small ferry boat and it was extremely choppy (the weather did not help). So many people were sea sick unfortunately, so I’d reccomend medicating before hand if you get motion sick easily. Getting to see the cliffs from the bottom was breathtaking despite the wild storm.
The weather cleared up by the time we reached the top of the cliffs and WOW. It is obvious why it is a top tourist attraction in Ireland. What a beautiful place. My only wish is that we had more time there, as we felt quite rushed and didnt get to see all of the things we wanted to.
I would highly reccomend this tour to anyone who wants to get a lot done in a short period of time!
