Great class! Super fun. We hope we can bring what we learned home for some tasty home made pizza! Julia and her assistant (I can’t remember her name) were lovely!

Fantastic! Easy enough for beginners, but with enough detail for an experienced “chef.” I definitely recommend it!

I was in Rome alone waiting for friends to arrive the next day and t was my birthday. I decided to do something where I could interact with other people doing something I like to do. It was wonderful. Everyone in the group was
Very friendly and open. I had a wonderful Birthday!

This by far was my favorite excursion. The teacher was phenomenal. I will definitely do this excursion again. Will recommend to all my friends. I will be making this pizza at my house!

It was nice to learn how to make the pizza dough from scratch. Our teacher was very patient. I wish we could have eaten our own pizza dough that we made. (What we made was taken away and we’re given dough that had time to rise for 5 hours). Also couldn’t put any more than 3 toppings on the pizza. 😞 (well, we were not allowed to put the ingredients on the pizza, that was done by the teacher). I believe the experience mentioned alcoholic beverages throughout the experience- but we were only given 2 Prosecco’s and had to pay for extra wine.

Valerie & Frederico made the experience fun and seem so simple. We were all very pleased with our final products. Interaction with all participants was so enjoyable! Looking forward to Viator giving us the recipe!

Me & my sister took the class and absolutely loved it.
Amazing value- drinks on arrival and with your pizza, followed by bruschetta and either espresso or limoncello.
Our tutor was great and very friendly.
    Great fun and very tasty!
Obviously very high quality ingredients too
Fab location too, to make a day of it!

This was a quick and fun class. It said 2 hours but it was over in an hour. But we got some great techniques on making a good crust. We had a small group of 12 folks.

Of all the food classes I took during my European vacation, this was my least favorite. The “class” consisted of a very quick making of pizza dough (which we ended up throwing away), making the pizza with premade dough (which only had 4 topping options) and then eating the pizza along with one 1/2 glass of wine. The “class” was only an hour and then we had an hour to eat. Unfortunately We were very rushed due to another class coming directly after ours. The instructor didn’t give any advice or tips, just ran through the process, kind of helped with the making of the pizza then left us to eat while he set up for the following class. We were even given uncut pizzas and only butter knives to attempt to cut it with. Two in the class was 10 minutes late (due to trying to find near by parking) and was told they couldn’t participate and asked to stand off to the side while the rest of their party made the pizzas for them. I felt bad for them. Another family told us the same happened to them a few days earlier. Luckily they were able to reschedule for another day. Overall Not a great experience. Save your money or go to a different class! But be on time if you choose to book this “class” and Take a taxi or Uber so you don’t have to worry about finding your own parking.

Such a fun class! You start by making your dough, then using a pre-made dough to actually make a pizza. The dough you make must rise for 24-48 hours, hence the switcheroo. We were told they use the dough we make to donate food to shelters, which is a nice touch.

This was a fantastic tour that was close to our hotel, Palazzo Navona. It was only a 4 min walk to the restaurant from our hotel. Everyone at the restaurant was very nice and the guide, Anna, was friendly and took a lot of time explaining how authentic Roma pizza dough is made. This tour was well worth the money. I would highly recommend this tour for families with teenagers.

Valeria was amazing. She took the time to break some of my bad habits and was very patient with me. Her knowledge and experience of ingredient ratios, kneading methods, and subtleties in temperature ranges was truly impressive – and she was a great storyteller as well. I’ve been making pizza for 20 years and learned a lot.
