Lizzie was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. The tour highlighted some great points of interesting we wouldn’t have otherwise known about during our brief visit to glasgow.
Geoff_U –
We booked a walking tour of Glasgow. We didn’t book to hear the guide (Caron) give her political views for the whole tour.
Dorrie_M –
David was very interesting and funny with a wealth of knowledge. The tour included many interesting stories and city highlights. David was very good at answering any questions and making suggestions of what to see and do. I highly recommend this tour.
Dave_S –
Though the guide and topics were interesting, it is nice when tese type of walking tours really take you through the city and show you places and the guides really talk about them and how to find and get around places in the city today.
Would love to see this expanded upon.
Karen_M –
This was a great walking tour! Not too long, and hit the highlights. Our tour guide, Mary, was great! She had a great sense of humor and also was very knowledgeable about the city’s history!
Colette_D –
I really enjoyed this walking tour. We talked about some interesting tidbits about sights within the city. It was just enough information to make me want to know more.
Rebecca_R –
Would highly recommend this tour. Louise was fantastic. Learned loads about Glasgow. Went back to the City Chambers the next day for a tour. Which is somewhere we wouldn’t have known about without this tour. This was an amazing experience a must do in Glasgow!
Bernard_S –
Really enjoyed and informative tour. Even though it was raining most of the walk it did not really matter. Highly recommended
Stacy_C –
The tour was good but there isn’t a lot to see in Glasgow. I would have preferred to spend time in the church that we stood outside rather than walking by some of the other sites.
Sean_C –
I spent a half hour to find the meet point but can’t really get it. Tour operator’s phone was no pick up, and I can only contact Viator team. Tour operator gave NO response on rescheduling or refund or anything. Really horrible experience.
Paul_R –
The guide was brilliant. She knew so much. We had a great time. We learnt so much. It was almost two hours well spent
Julie_S –
SG was amazing! She was so nice and made everything super interesting. Would definitely recommend this tour
Jane_J –
David has excellent knowledge of the city and shares it with humour. He answered all our questions and stayed at the end to give recommendations if we asked for them. Excellent tour, thank you 😊
Maria_A –
The tourguide was sweet but the tour itself was a dissapointment because there were almost no information about Glasgow. I took the hop on hop of tour afterwards as a comparison and got the info you should expect touring the largest city of Scotland
Paul_G –
I had a great time on the tour of Glasgow city. The tour leader was fantastic & had a vast knowledge of Glasgow’s history with a funny sense of humour. I highly recommend this tour of the city.
Cheers Paul

David was an incredible tour guide. David shared a lot of fascinating stories and facts about anout all the various buildings and landmarks we saw around the city. There was so much beautiful architecture and history. We were impressed with the detailed knowledge David had..and he didn’t even have a script or notes. Wonderful way to begin our Scotland trip and stay in Glasgow. Highly, highly recommend this tour!
Dolores_B –
It was a good way to get a sense of the city. I would have liked to hear more history. There was a bit of overlap with the street art tour
Jonathan_W –
David was entertaining. Viator made this tour easy to book. The word limit here is a pain so I’m not going to say more.
Dessi_M –
Louise was our guide, she was knowledgeable, funny, friendly, very entertaining. We are all very happy with her tour
Thank you!

Knowledgeable guide, learnt a lot
Glasgow is an interesting city, tho a bit dirty – needs more street cleaners
Thank you
