This was a fun bus trip leading to St Andrew’s Cathedral. The driver was very entertaining and the trip was self guided off the bus. I really enjoyed this except for the heavy construction going on at the golf course, but that’s not the tour’s fault,

The countryside on the way to St. Andrew’s was so beautiful. Our tour guide was very good and even played Scottish tunes along the way which made it very enjoyable
Heather_R –
A wonderful way to see the beautiful Scottish scenery. Adrian, our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. He made great recommendations for where to stop in St. Andrews.
CHRISTOPHER_A –
Graeme was a fantastic tour guide. Provided interesting info and was extremely entertaining. The sites were beautiful. Loved getting to go to the home of golf!

Memorable guide we had. Graam made our day while we were visiting so beautiful places. We had time enough to see all in detail.
Holly_M –
Super knowledgeable and funny host/driver! Even in poor weather, it was lovely. No golfers on the St. Andrews course on Sunday so everyone has free range on the course, which was nice.

Stuart, our driver, was great. Entertained with stories and Scottish music during the bus ride. The scenery along the route was beautiful.
St. Andrews was cute and easily walkable. The Fishing villages were nothing spectacular, but provided a leg stretch, coffee and bathroom break.
Definitely recommend for an easy day trip from Edinburgh.

The tour guide was very friendly and kept us entertained. He also went out of his way to drop us off at our destination.
Grateful! Will use Viator again.

This tour wa excellent! Our guide Stuart was very knowledgeable and nice. Would highly recommend. Lots of short stops thrown in for breaks! Enjoyed the music he played along the way!!
Leonardo_K –
This day trip was very nice, full of history and magnificent views but, it count with we consider “the cherry on the top”. Graeme, our guide, is a mix between a history professor and a showman. Great experience, full of fun and laughs. We strongly recommend this tour!! Also, the trip was pleasant and safe thanks to our professional driver, Hugh.
Michael_D –
Great time at St Andrews, but a bit rushed. Would rather have spent more time there and less stops on the road.
Gil_B –
Fine tour with only one regret, not enough time in St Andrews. Drop one of the three stops on the journey and add to time in St Andrews.
BernardoJulio_V –
As a golfer to visit St Andrews was a fantastic experience. And also all the places we visited with outstanding explanations from our guide.

A great day! This tour was very good. Great day in the villages and at St. Andrews. Pro tip: get off in the city and walk to the golf course. If you don’t, you won’t have much time in the town of St. Andrews which is charming. The course is beautiful and between foursomes, grab a bridge selfie!
Diane_S –
The tour was the perfect length. Started at 9am and we were back by 6 pm. St Andrew’s was just beautiful! We were able to get on the course the get a picture on the Old Course bridge. Also the fishing town of Fife was very quaint and pretty. Highly recommended.
Laura_C –
We skipped the town of St Andrews and had lunch at the grill at the golf course, then played a round of mini golf at the “ladies putting club”. It was so fun and great to say that we “played St Andrews”. I would possibly advise to find another location for lunch nearby the course because we arrived during their rush hour, so service was a bit slow.

Great comfortable trip. Driver Graham kept everyone entertained from the start with local information.. he is an asset to the company

We missed the bus by 2 minutes. 120 seconds. Viator got a great deal out of us! We ran thru the streets. Be on time or they will take your $$! We had a car rental so we went ourselves and it was great. Viator… not so much.
JoAnne_V –
Seeing the fishing villages along with St Andrews. Nice day seeing that part of Scotland. Driver / Guide Peter was excellent and entertaining.

After doing research and thinking I had booked a small-group tour, I was surprised to be loaded onto a full-sized tour bus. I wish Viator would require providers to explicitly state the size of vehicle they are booking. If too many people sign up, as we were told by the company representative, then find more vans or don’t keep booking people. Thankfully, our bus driver, Graeme, was a fabulous guide. St. Andrews is charming, and the fishing villages idyllic.
