Great trip with Wild Rover Tours. Our guide Murphy was excellent, and very entertaining! Wile Belfast could be sobering, it is important to understand the challenges facing the people. Dunluce Castle and The Giant Causeway are both great stops and we’ll worth the long trip from Dublin. I would highly recommend!

Murphy was a great guide. Knowledgeable and witty.
Our Belfast black taxi guide, Jimmy was outstanding. His passion and love of Belfast was inspiring. It was a great day!

  3. chad_w

Kevin was a great tour guide. We started promptly at 7am and got back just before 8pm. It was a long day but Giant’s Causeway was beautiful. I would recommend if you don’t want to drive there on your own.

I travel to Dublin for work regularly and try to do a day trip each time. This was my favorite of them all. Learned so much in the black cab and the Giant Causeway was phenomenal.
Rory our guide was the best! Making the trip more enjoyable!

Great tour, Kevin was super friendly and we saw so much. Castle was amazing and the lack cab tour of Belfast was so interesting and informative. Giants Causeway was beautiful as well. Well worth it!

This trip is well worth the price. My partner and I quite enjoyed everything about the trip. The tour guide Patrick was full of energy and very knowledgeable about the sites we saw as well as some added Oscar Wilde history and writings. Driver Patrick made some incredible driving maneuvers and got us to see some exclusive scenery. The Giant’s Causeway alone is worth the trip. It’s truly the 8th wonder of the world. The Nook is an awesome little lunch spot as well. Compared to other tourist trap restaurants the food was superb. They could charge an arm and a leg but everything was quite reasonable and quick to order. The only knock on the trip would maybe be the fact the bud doesn’t have a bathroom on board but there are plenty of bathroom stops along the way. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone that’s active and interested in getting out of Dublin without the need to rent their own car.

Incredible experience!!! Definitely a must do if you are visiting Ireland and a great way to go to Northern Ireland and learn about their history and view the 8th wonder of the world. Our tour guide and driver, both Patricks (hehe) were incredible!!! They truly made the experience ever better than it already is. The driving made us feel very safe and the Patrick the tour guide was so knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely caring. We did the black taxi tour and I highly recommend. We learned so much history and heard truly touching stories from our black bad taxi tour guide, you guessed it, Patrick. Pat with the hat was so kind and just such a cool experience to hear stories coming from first hand experience. And of course the giant’s causeway was also amazing, felt unreal. The food at the cafe there was also very yummy. Everything was timed perfectly and bathroom breaks came at all the rights times. I can’t recommend this experience enough!!!!

We had 2 days in Dublin at the end of an 8 day trip around Ireland, and we decided to spend one of the days on this excursion to Northern Ireland. It was wonderful and so worth it. My friend and I are not early risers, and we were somewhat put off by the early start time, but it turned out to be a day full of beautiful sights and very interesting and engaging history. We elected to do the black cab tour in Belfast, over the Titanic museum, and it was an incredible glimpse into the life of a person who has lived through “the troubles” in Belfast. We then got to see the amazing Dun Lace castle on the edge of a cliff, and we ended the day with 2 hours at Giant’s Causeway (including time for lunch), and it was magnificent. We got some rest on the bus too, to make up for the early start. 🙂 Also, Rory was a great tour guide – lots of history, interesting facts, and some jokes to keep us entertained. Highly recommend!!

This was a fantastic way to see Northern Ireland if you’re based in Dublin. The Belfast tour of the troubles with Billy was such an incredible learning experience and so moving. Guide Rory and driver Patrick took us along a beautiful coastal drive to Dunluce Castle and the Giants Causeway. Rory also gave us great recommendations throughout the day and about more places to see in Dublin! They were fun AND professional. This was overall great value for money and a perfectly planned day trip. Thank you!!!

Sasirse (out guide) and Patrick (our bus driver) we’re amazing! Sasirse had tons of knowledge about the places we visited along with the folklore and myths. The places we visited were absolutely breathtaking. I skipped the black cab portion and visited the Titanic Experience instead. I would def recommend visiting the museum if u get a chance. The weather is completely crazy so when they recommend dressing in layers…take it seriously…lol
