Everything about this day went just like clockwork. We were picked up at our hotel exactly on time and enjoyed the trip to Pisa and to Florence in an air-conditioned van with Alex and Johnny( our driver). Alex peppered in interesting information along the way, did an excellent tour of Pisa with plenty of picture taking opportunities and then delivered us to Florence for lunch and tour with a local guide. The lunch suggestion was perfect, our guide was expert on Michaelangelo and local Florentine facts. All in all we highly recommend this tour!

It is great. I love it. Florece is beautiful, and the guides are great. I have a lovely day. They were puntual and a small group.

We loved being able to see the famous sites of Florence and Pisa despite having a short trip centered in Rome. Alex was great at making sure we understood the importance of everything we were seeing and it’s impact on Italian History. She also knew some great places to take photos! Our driver, Constantino, was incredibly skilled at getting us from location to location in a safe and speedy manner. Alex and Constantino also did a great job of keeping us entertained with great banter and commentary between the long drives between locations. We really enjoyed this day trip!

Florence was beautiful, and the stop at Piza was perfect to admire the beauty of the structures. It ended with some of the most spectacular views I have ever seen at Michaelangello’s Square. Our tour guide and driver were excellent.

Our guide, Fabio and his colleague (driver) we’re amazing. Once we got to Florece we had another guide and he too was kind, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Super happy we booked this tour. Please note that it’s a long drive and short stay in Florence so don’t be surprised.

Rashi was a wonderful guide and pleasant company. To see the David statue was a must do while in Italy. Would’ve liked to walk around florence more but we had to get back.

We loved our tour guide Rashi. She was so wonderful with my 9 year old daughter. Rashi had so many wonderful facts to share and was overall, well versed in world knowledge.
The Pisa tour was a little unorganized, as we had to wait a long time for another guide to bring our tickets. The main event was the leaning tour. We could have done without seeing the churches. Probably will never go back to Pisa. It was boring.
Florence was amazing. Carla, our guide for the museum, was so wonderful. We appreciated her excitement for sharing stories regarding the city and the art.
Even though we had a “skip the line” ticket to see the David, we still waited for about an hour to get in. This kind of messed up our time schedule.
I was disappointed that there was no free time built in to walk around Florence a little bit to shop. There was no time for that. I would love to go back to Florence and just walk around the city

Alex was absolutely 💯 amazing. Wonderful tour with her. Very knowledgeable and very friendly and kind. She will continue to do well. Wonderful young lady.

What an incredible experience!! There truly are no words for how beautiful The Cathedral, Baptistery and Leaning Tower of Pisa were in Pisa. Florence itself is worth another trip alone and Michelangelo’s David, did not disappoint. Our tour guides were fabulous and very knowledgeable!

Great tour guides throughout the trip. They were very knowledgeable and tried to tailor the experience as much as possible. Learning the history of the area was tremendous.

Fabio, Adam and Giovanni did a wonderful job showing us around Pisa and Florence. Everyone was punctual and polite. Giovanni’s enthusiasm really came through as he was explaining things throughout the Galleria dell’Accademia (Statue of David) and the city of Florence. Although a lot of time was spent on the road, we are glad we got the chance to see everything.

The tour guides were wonderful and very knowledgeable. They were very considerate of our needs and wishes throughout the tour.

The trip to Pisa is a must-see, although it would have been nice to go through all of the buildings. Mass was being said in the church which was very special. The walking tour of Florence was informative but very quick and felt rushed. Would have liked more time in the museum where David was. The Florence guide was good. The guide that was with us all day was nice, but hard to hear and needs to talk to the group more.

Good round tour but a little overpriced for one person at >$500! Driver was fantastic but would have expected a little more hospitality and tour commentary from our host.

What an amazing experience! The semi private tour was us and another couple only. The driver was attentive and tour guide Giuliana was sweet and knowledgeable. Fabulous experience!

This was the perfect trip to see Florence and Pisa while we were in Rome. Our guides were knowledgeable and very friendly. Rashi kept us on pace and gave us plenty of time to see the sights on our own time. Would highly recommend.

  18. KRISTEN_T

Great experience and we shifted the tour to have a shorter time at Pisa so we could have more time in Florence. Loved the small group with the van pick up. I wish we’d had more time to explore more though. Our guide at the gallery was great and very knowledgeable. Our tour operator didn’t give too much information during the many hours of the trip, but he did make sure we got where we needed to go. Lunch was fantastic!

We enjoyed this tour. The day started by going to Pisa and then on to Florence. We took three tours with Welcome Italy and I thought they were all very well organized and fun. The afternoon in Florence was a little bit of a bummer due to an unexpected thunderstorm but no one can predict the weather. Seeing Michelangelo’s David was a highlight and the tour guide was very good. I would recommend this tour.

Our tour guide kept smoking while giving us the tour, which is very disrespectful. He also kept addressing the male in the family…like do women not count? And he gave us more free time than actual tour/info when at sites.
We had a second tour guide (Giovani) in Florence that saved the day. But the overall experience was way under par.

It was a great experience. A real small and nice group, you do not feel rushed and they let you enjoy your time.
