As two couples that had not visited Tokyo before we booked into the “One Day Tokyo Bus Tour”
It was the best thing we could have done, we saw many parts of Tokyo, experienced the sights and sounds, blended in the locals, experienced the Japanese culture.
Our guide “LEVIN was a delight, speaking perfect English and have a great deal of knowledge of the areas he took us too. The trip was well organized and ran like clock work. I am in my seventies and found I was quite comfortable with the pace set, It is a long day starting at 8:45 am at the LOVE piece of art (see picture) and returning around 5:45pm that night. My only complaint is that the tour finished at the Shinjuku Station and it took us more than a hour and a lot of help from locals to get back to our starting point so we knew where we were. Other than that the day is great value. PS Make sure you include lunch with your tour it is well worth the experience.

Highly recommend this tour to anyone who has limited time in Tokyo as you get to see a broad range of sights. The lunch was really good and worth purchasing as part of the tour. The tour guide was so knowledgeable and able to answer the many questions she was asked.

The tour did not visit nor drive by some listed attractions, eg Godzilla, Tokyo Statue of Liberty, Olympic stadium, plus a couple of others. Lunch however was very good. Final concern was that we were picked up at a hotel but dropped off at a train station a couple of miles from our hotel. We might have missed it in the fine print, but so did a number of others on our bus. Fortunately, our tour had a young lady who was interning to become a guide on our trip and she spent about 15 minutes of her own time navigating us through the complicated train station.

Not really the tour’s fault, but it was during the holidays and so packed we could not see or enjoy any of the locations. The first shrine was blocked off for New Years and couldn’t see much of it. The Emperor’s palace and Odaiba boat tour was a waste of time. Didn’t see anything at all. Couldn’t go to the top of sky tree due to ppl. I would go on my own next time. I just wish they had told us any of that. A disclosure in advance would have been nice. The tour guide was lovely and the bus driver was amazing. The bus was a nice way to get from place to place, but that’s it. I would still recommend them just not during a busy holiday and if you realize you don’t really get to see two of the locations.

Enjoyed the tour however very disappointed to be told the day before tour that the cruise on Tokyo bay was canceled, I booked this tour as it included the cruise! The lunch at the sumo restaurant was awesome and we got to see all the major sites in Tokyo which was great as we had our 6 and 8 year old daughters with us, they enjoyed it too!

Great value. You see many things and is well worth the price. Oslo our guide was great.
The hot pot lunch was amazing.

Our guide, Levin was very knowledgeable, funny, and very professional. He was very friendly and understanding. The bus is very clean too.

Saw many beautiful places in Tokyo in just a short time. Levin was a very knowledgeable guide with a great sense of humor! His trainee Jana was also great.

  9. Syed_H

I will like to hear more details about the place we are going to visit i.e. be little bit more informed which was not there.

  10. Laura

We enjoyed our Toyko bus tour. We saw many of the main attractions tourists would want to see in Toyko… and didn’t need to worry about transportation or ticket entries. The sumo hot pot lunch was delicious. Our tour guide was hard to understand but tried.

  11. meryem_f

The guide was not knowledgeable at all, this was more of drop on / off of places then guided tour since we were left to wonder around without guidance. The team was nice and helpful but it was underwhelming. We did not do the cruise becoz of the weather they said which Was very disappointing.

  12. Yan_C

Chris was the best! A very educational and fun day! Highly recommended. She even taught us some interesting Japanese phrases.

  13. Margherita_L

This tour is great to see the highlights of Tokyo in one day. Our tour guide Melody was very informative along the way with facts about Tokyo. Our other guide Kappa also looked after us making sure we knew how to get back to meeting points. Lunch at sumo restaurant was very good. Unfortunately Tokyo skytree was closed due to the virus. Disappointing.
My only comment is that at the end of the tour we were dropped off to a train station to get our way back to our hotel. As we had only arrived the day before in Japan we were not sure where the entrance to the station was. We eventually found it but it would have been helpful if either guide could have taken a minute to show us how to get to the train entrance.

This tour was ok, did the job an overview of Tokyo. Tokyo is a massive city though and I did not enjoy this as much as some of my other tours. I attended this tour November 2019.

  15. steve_d

Well put together. Good pace. Covered all the must see bits. It was just what I wanted. Everything in one day

The guide Levin and his assistant, cruise across the bay at the end of the trip great way to end a packed and informative day

  17. Samson_L

Really enjoyed Asakusa and the Match ice cream, the temple and the shopping experience were wonderful. We also loved the views of Tokyo from the Skytree! Mo and Angie were terrific tour guides not just for the sites but also about Japanese culture.

  18. Edward_M

The fast entry to the SkyTree, and the views were terrific. Angelie was very informative, wonderful.

  19. Shanon_K

Mo and Mina did an amazing job escorting my family and I around Tokyo and sharing knowledge and history of its notable places, especially for a group who’s never visited Japan before.
Their hospitality was top tier and greatly appreciated.
