Peter was an excellent, enthusiastic guide. His tips were right on for restaurants and local food at our stops. We started with a Zurich city tour with picture stops. Then we stopped for a walking tour and lunch at a small town right outside of Zurich. Next was Heidiland. We enjoyed every minute. Next to Lichtenstein, where everything was closed but local souvenir shop. We did have great apple strudel in a cafe.
This tour starts at 11. We got back at 7:30. I am not sure why they don’t start earlier and end earlier. Heads up. They do not go back to the same place they began to drop you off. A taxi was easy to find back to our hotel.

Feedback. Shd have gone to Vaduz first. Everything closed at 5 pm
Don’t make sense. Can’t see much really

  3. Elsa_L

Rapperswill and Heidiland were the highlights. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The whole logistics were well organized.

The website giving bus location is incorrect and caused us to be late and almost miss trip. The views were beautiful and Lichtenstein was a check the box type of visit

I enjoyed my day and never felt bored. The tour is paced really well so that you never feel rushed, and you feel a sense of freedom while also never feel like you’ll get lost or left behind.
Two downsides of the tour are:
    1. The bus was too cold for my taste
    2. There was no access to the bus when you stopped at a venue, so if the stop was 45 minutes and you were over it after 20 minutes, you needed to make yourself busy for the remaining 25 minutes because you could not go back on the bus.

The guide was good but we thought the day was a bit long, so it’s only worth it if you really want to visit Liechtenstein for one hour. We arrived at 16:20 and by then the post office and most of the town was closed.
In November when Rapperswil castle is closed, it would be better to shorten the time in Rapperswil and spend more time in Liechtenstein.
Heididorf was enjoyable but it was an extra CHF 10 to enter the buildings. We sent a postcard from the post office there, as it would have a unique Heidi postmark.

My tour guide Walter and driver Hernando really made the experience fun, interactive and personal. They were personable, humorous and informative. They kept us on time while ensuring we made the most of our time.

Peter our tour guide was brilliant! Hearing all the history of Heidi and the author’s story was a treat!! I felt well cared for the entire day!!

Guide and driver are professional, the way of this tour is quite comfortable, not rush not slow! Overall it’s good!

An enjoyable day. Saw a lot in the time available. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The Medieval village was really interesting as was Lichtenstein. A small place that can easily be seen in an hour.

  11. Leigh_A

Very average.. it didn’t help that it was drizzling rain all day. The scenery was beautiful but there was nothing special about the tour, we could have driven ourselves to the different locations.

  12. Mercedes_D

If you love the countryside, this is for you. You will spend most of the time on the road. If you want to really visit Liechtenstein and Heidiland, then you may wish to look for another tour as you are given around 1h 15 mins in Liechtenstein and drive around Heidiland. The scenery driving through Switzerland on the way to Liechtenstein and Heidiland is simply gorgeous. The tour guides (Walter and Armando) were lovely.

  13. Martin_E

Just perfect. Guide was so pleasant and informative. Best bit was visiting Lichtenstein. But enjoyed the whole day, highly recommended

  14. Christopher_B

Loved these locations, and the beautiful mountains! The tour guide was awesome and gave a great deal of interesting facts about each location and about Switzerland. He stayed with us the whole time and was very friendly and helpful. He even made reservations for lunch at a delicious restaurant for any who wanted to enjoy affordable, authentic Swiss cuisine. He was always ready to answer any questions and point out the best restaurants and places to shop (and the nearest bathroom 😅) We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The only thing I wish for was more time in Liechtenstein. If they could have shortened the other stops and made more time for touring there it would have been even better.

This was the very worst tour we have ever taken. There were no boxes to provide the commentary when off the bus. There were about 40 of us. The guide never told us on bus when we could hear him what was going to happen. Then he tried to tell 40 people. It was a disaster.
Part of the tour was to include the village that is open in the winter in place of Heidiland. We drove through it so that one side of bus saw the sign.
Awful waste of vacation time and miney

Lichtenstein, and Heidiland and Rapperswil, Switzerland were great. We were there also during the Christmas Markets

  17. Andrea_P

Seeing the lower Swiss Alps, the quaint villages we stopped at, and the delicious lunch. Good call, Walter!
