Our guide Emiliano was extremely informative but in a fun way. I learned so much about the history while seeing many of the sights on my list of “must see” places. Emiliano put history to these places that I wouldn’t have known or appreciated had I just gone to see these places on my own. I recommend this tour to give you a better understanding of this country’s history, it is quite remarkable.

The guy was entertaining and very knowledgeable. He was always open to questions and if he did not know the answer, he was honest and would try to find out for you. To me, that is the sign of a good guide because some act like they know it all. We were provided so much information that I am sure most was never taught in our schools. Great guide and tour.

It depends on who you get as your guide. I read all the great reviews of Dani and Emiliano. Unfortunately, we got someone else who was difficult to understand and spoke too fast. Her commentary was very simplistic and she jumped around from really basic history, to what to do in an earthquake, to her opinions about the Mexican presidential election and other irrelevant subjects. We learned almost nothing and were very disappointed. We have taken introductory walking tours in many places around the world and this was the worst.

Learning about the pre-colonial México era was so interesting and very informative. Our tour guide Estefania was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions and the 3 hours went by so quickly. If you want to learn a little bit about Mexico City history, I highly recommend this experience!
