Grade A+ on this trip! Service was amazing. Had a full day of adventure one one little island! The ride was an easy 30 min or less by boat. We started our day relaxing in the infinity pool overlooking the beautiful south seas. Then had a delicious lunch poolside. For the afternoon we went snorkeling right off the beach with my 7 and 10 year old. It was an easy swim and the coral and fish are right off the beach! Amazing! Finally we ended the afternoon lounging on the shore, taking in the cool ocean breeze and a little nap. The workers made everything SO easy on the island….from check in, to getting food, to getting towels and snorkel gear and life vests. Nothing was difficult and all you had to do was relax and enjoy. I felt like a VIP the entire time.
We didn’t rent a cabana. I suggest the full day pass and just getting a lounge chair on the beach. If you get half day, you arrive after the full day guests so most of the good spots are taken. The pool gets crowded so full day pass and going in the morning to the pool is best.

AVOID this scam!!!
They let me book a ticket for the day with a pick up option past the pick up time and would not refund me.
Incredibly disingenuous to be selling tickets when it’s not possible to make the trip (and only providing further pick up information after ticket purchase).
Viator and Malamala beach club kept pushing the blame on each other and neither granted a refund.
Absolutely waste of money and horrible customer service

Only 25 minutes boat ride.

When I went first time, 23 years ago it had a big hut with palm leaf roof. You were ferried with an open boat much smaller than the now use twin hull monstrosities. At lunchtime a bbq lunch was provided, now you’ve high priced menu.

30 minute boat ride to the island. Welcoming staff and beautiful clear water for snorkeling and pristine beach. We would not have enjoyed the day as much without the cabana we pre-rented. I called ahead to reserve it. The pool area was very crowded and noisy and that’s not our thing but others seemed to be having fun there. There is also a great swing on the beach that is a must for picture taking.
Our private cabana on the beach and waiter were great! The 5 cocktail drink package for $99FJ was the way to go and Homemade Vietnamese Summer Rolls and sauce were amazingly fresh and good!
The snorkeling area out by the pier was set up nicely with floating pvc pipes marking the areas for snorkeling and allowing you something to rest on. Getting fins and snorkels were no problem. The ladder to access and exit the water could have been made a little easier to navigate. Those who desire to do so could jump into the water from the elevated pier.

Everytime I have to call the cruise operator to check bus status for pickup. There was no direct communication with the bus driver who was suppose to pick up.
“No hurry, no worry” slogan is applicable to fijians only, when they delay everything for hours but when it comes to us they can’t even wait for 2 mins.
The “electricity” surcharge at the resort was quite annoying (despite a very small amount) but everytime you go and order something they give you a bill with some kind of surcharge (sometime it’s fuel, sometime it’s electricity and they don’t inform upfront as well). It’s better to charge tourist upfront vs asking them for penny amount everytime by calling it a surcharge.
