Must do when in Darwin! We had a wonderful time learning about crocodiles, fish, birds, mudflats and mangroves. We went into places you can’t go at low tide on a normal boat. We saw 2 crocodiles which was a bonus.

While my husband, daughter and I enjoyed the boat ride it was way way too expensive. It cost us $558.75 for 3 adults for 1 hour. Definitely not worth the money

I expected to have fun on the Jetboat & Airboat Ride… and l certainly did – racing through the harbour, bouncing over wake and doing sharp 360 turns which caused us to get splashed. The airboat was slower but a great ride. What l DIDN’T expect was to learn about the importance of mangoves on the water’s edge, see different birds, check the water for animal life (unfortunately the stingray wouldn’t co-operate and come to my side of the boat), see a crocodile trap and learn about how and why they are used and have a chance to taste an oyster from a mangrove branch that l thought was dead! I went alone, but judging by the delight expressed so often by the young children (about 6 and 3) in front of me, l am sure a whole family could enjoy this activity. I would recommend it to anyone. Our driver/guide Rowdy was great.

Fantastic trip on both the air boat and jet boat 👍🏻 Only one word of advice- wear swimwear and preferably dark swim wear as by the time we finished we were drenched and covered in mud flecks 😂
