The weather was awful but Trevor was such an engaging, knowledgable and entertaining guide that he made the day really memorable. Would highly recommend him. Thank you Trevor for a brilliant two hours.

Excellent Harry potter walking tour in Oxford.
My twins love Harry Potter and they loved this tour.
Jamie the tour guide was Fantastic he had costumes for us all to wear and a pin badge and scarfs then he had a sorting hat too…
The tour guide made the tour fun exciting and was very up on Harry potter he even did a quiz at the end.
We loved seeing Christchurch cathedral it was a magnificent place to visit and having the headphones/audio to listen about it was great too.
The Bodleian library was very beautiful too.

John is a great tour guide…really informative and very considerate of his group – making sure everyone is OK.

We were shown around by Jamie who was excellent. He really brought the city to life with lots of good stories and interesting facts. The cloaks, scarfs and even a wand went down well and helped everyone get into the spirit!! The fact that he was at Oxford university gave him more credibility. He took some photos of us which hopefully you will be able to use.

Jaime was a wonderful tour guide and made visiting Oxford a memorable experience by binging Harry Potter costumes, his historical knowledge and humor to the walk through lovely Oxford. Thank you Jaime!

The trip was organized for our 2 granddaughters aged 15 & 13. Both avid & knowledgeable Harry Potter fans. (They absolutely loved it!)
We were lucky to have beautiful weather on a Sunday when Oxford was not ever so busy. Also our guide was superb. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable.

  7. Cindy_D

The guide, Sabrina, was great. I expected to see more sites from the movie (Divinity School was closed and we never went onto New College grounds). It was more of a literary history of Oxford tour.

  8. Ahsan_A

We really enjoyed the experience including the quiz. Jamie was brilliant and insightful. Definitely recommended.

    The great hall was fantastic
Great to have the history as well
And the local Oxford student input
Great fog older teenagers and adults
    Not for very young kids…

Jamie was great! A bit chaotic to find the meeting place as there is construction at 5 Broad st.
A bit disappointed that we couldn’t go in the Bodleian as there were graduations. I believe the entry was included in our ticket- should there be a refund?

Myself and my Harry Potter mad 10 year old booked this as a Xmas present and it did not disappoint we had an amazing time. Only issue was I had to change to date from May to July and the price difference was considerable

  12. delphine_b

unfortunately did not include all that was mentioned on the reservation only divinity school and christ church visited!
christ church with an audio guide
although the guide was charming the tour was not the one booked at all and we were left with a feeling of disappointment far below the muggle tour done in London !!

Anastasia was a great tour guide, very enthusiastic. Loved seeing the tree.
    Would definitely recommend.

Not enough added value considering the very high tour price. Bodleian Library was closed and Christ Church Cathedral was closed (we were only informed right before and during the tour). Only received back 2.50 GBP per person… Remaining was very little added value. It was possible to enter the Christ Church dining hall and to walk on the Oxford University/ Christ Church premises, but that was all. And the tour guide didn’t even accompany us. The tour guide shared some Harry Potter information and stories during our walk from the pickup point to Christ Church, but for that you don’t need such an expensive tour. I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

Due to an unexpected illness, Footprint Tours substituted the Oxford University and City Tour that included a couple of sites from the movie. Our Tour guide Rachel did a superb job of adapting to that challenge as well as graduation activities and closures due to the death of queen Elizabeth II. A very informative tour full of fascinating information about the town and the University. An excellent all around tour.

Very interesting and enjoyable! Anastasia was our guide. But book your Christ Church tickets in advance by yourself, it is worth seeing!

We initially booked the Harry Potter tour but that was cancelled due to construction on the site. We were told the Oxford tour would be basically the same tour, and would be appropriate and interesting to our grandchildren. Sadly, it wasn’t. The tour guide did a good job but the tour was disappointing to us as it really wasn’t a Harry Potter tour at all.

  18. Kristen_D

Amazing tour guide. She was knowledgeable and very helpful with selecting routes for the pram. She did an excellent job discussing the magic of Oxford.

  19. Michelle_F

Absolutely the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because we often couldn’t hear the guide’s running commentary because the group was spread out in a long line and I was often near the end of the line. Otherwise, it was great and the guide was friendly and knowledgeable and did a great job. I can’t remember her name, but we were on the 12 noon Harry Potter walking tour on May 26, 2024. BTW- she was wearing the cutest cat knee socks 🙂

This Harry Potter waking tour was very fun for my family with young kids. They were fascinated by the fun facts and beautiful architecture walking through Oxford. Our guide was entertaining and very friendly! Her brain was filled with fun facts! We had a great time!
