Our tour guide was very good and provided lots of information regarding the filming of the movie and history of the two small towns used for the movie sets. The first stop at Forza D’Agro had the nicest, most calm coffe spot
I have had in a long time in the plaza. Savoca was beautiful and the lunch there was amazing and a brilliant restaurant.

The village was fascinating like walking back in time. The churches. the views and the lovely food in a nice friendly restaurant was great. But not forgetting Denise our tour guide who explained everything clearly and drove all the hairpin bends up to the village with great skill. She had great knowledge of the area and was very helpful with assisting my friend back down all the steps.

An incredible experience from start to finish!! Antonio our guide went above & beyond showing us & teaching us the history in Taormina. He was so passionate about everything he said to us. He made a point to remember everyone’s names & was interested in making sure everyone was ok with the walking. I would definitely recommend Antonio for this tour!!

Our tour guide Antonio was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond with information about the tour and the area. He knew the person who played Apolina’s mother, who lives in the town where Michael Cordelone & Apolina got married. She came out and gave us highlights of the filming. Very memorable. We stopped at all the filming locations, which were several. If you can’t walk up steep hills then this tour may be difficult for you. Lunch at a local restaurant was great too.

It was a small group, myself and 3 other couples, so I liked that we were given a great history of Sicily, the Mafia and the Godfather film whilst driving to our destination. Our tour guide Antonio was fantastic and helpful and had so much knowledge, he made the experience really enjoyable. If I book something similar in the future, I would like Antonio as my tour guide again.
Apart from a few uphill climbs and quite a few steps, the place was beautiful, views breathtaking and the people in both villages were very friendly and lovely.

Had an absolutely wonderful tour with Carlos who was an excellent guide and gave us good background into the godfather, took us to different hotspots (you can ask to visit specific places if necessary prior to the trip) with Sicily’s history of the mafia. Met wonderful people on the tour as well that I could share antidotes with about the movie.

Unbelievable! Orazio our tour guide was phenomenal, he was so fun, interesting, patient and enjoyable! Our lunch was Bellisimo on a terrace overlooking the Sicilian hills! The scenery was spectacular and many things we probably would not have seen if it weren’t for us taking the tour.
The cannolis at Bar Vitelli (a suggestion from Denise) were the best we’ve ever had. My Italian husband says he will remember those forever!
Denise made the trip memorable with lots of information. In fact, we felt bad after because I thought my husband had tipped her and he thought I had tipped her, so we left without tipping her. Ugh!! But we hope that this review will show her how much we enjoyed our time with her!
