Our excellent guide brought us first to a honey tasting, where other tastes such as flavored olive oils were available too. A nice exposure to many new tastes
We continued up Mt Etna to the Silvestri crater at 2800 meters, where we made the hike around the crater. stunning views and explanations of the power of the volcano, including intermediate stops to illustrate specific phenomena. At 70+ we were still able to enjoy the entire experience.
Finally an incredible stop at the winery for wine tastings and food sampling. All tastes were exceptional, with superior service and knowledge from the staff

Mauritzio was a wonderful guide. Amazingly well read with a vast knowledge of Sicily, geology, food, culture and was an engaging and generous host. We loved seeing Mount Etna, the crater, beautiful elevations and learning about the area. Our trip included an incredible wine tasting and lunch at the Murgo vineyard. Beautiful place with traditional Sicilian dishes. It was a wonderful day and I would recommend this tour very strongly.

My wife Lynda and I went to Sicily (Taormina/Mt Etna) for our 50th anniversary. We also spent time in Campania. Right before our trip we had a hurricane in Florida and Covid. So we were happy to finally get there. The night before the Etna and winery tour, my wife had some recurring symptoms of Covid even though we both tested negative. She wanted me to go anyway because I waited all my life to see Sicily and Etna, and she stayed in the hotel. Antonio and Davide, my driver and guide, virtually adopted me and showed me a wonderful time. It was like family taking me around. They accommodated me superbly and everybody we came across were both supportive and sympathetic that my wife could not make it. It was an easy decision to just come again soon so my wife can experience the great experience and the wonderful people.

Bruno Ferro was our guide and this man is a true Sicilian gem. From the first moment he made us feel comfortable and welcome. The tour was fantastic, we went and walked on several cinder cones and craters from older eruptions and were told about the history of Etna and the surrounding towns. Also the honey oil and wine tasting were delicious. The tour of the Gambino winery was a high point if the trip. This tour is a must

We traveled as a family of three with Samuela as our guide. She was amazing – very knowledgeable and outgoing. We never felt rushed at all. We have never been on the top of an active volcano and this trip certainly did not disappoint. We loved our time at Etna and the Gambino winery was top notch in both service and quality. The winery venue is extremely lovely and the views are truly amazing. The wine and food were both excellent.
