We enjoyed our sunset sail and the sunset was beautiful. Unfortunately, there was some miscommunication, as we booked our cruise from 3-8pm. The transportation was easy and we were picked up at 2:40pm. However, we stood in the parking lot at the dock for over an hour and did not end up taking off until 4pm. They later said they changed the start time because the sun is setting later in the day but no one communicated that in advance or prepared us to stand in a parking lot with no seating for an hour + in the hot sun waiting. The timing did end up being good for the sunset, and the food was delicious. We would have enjoyed more time to take photos & relax at different spots, overall it seemed rushed like they were making up for lost time since we left late and we would probably book with a different company next time.

This was one of the best experiences, a definite must. Good size tour, not overcrowded, we made friends with the other guests. Olga and Natalia were the best tour guides, the drinks were great, food was great and they allowed us to have a little soca session. Everyone enjoyed it!!!!

Overall the cruise was very good , but the wine was of very poor standard , warm and no choices. The guide couldn’t be heard he should use a microphone. The food was good but
A fruit platter was serviced near the end of the trip but if you were up top of the boat you missed out because you weren’t told.
The captain was very enthusiastic and friendly. The new boat was amazing, clean and well equipped.

We had a rough start, but it ended beautifully. If you are taking a cruise, there is probably no chance you will make this boat on time. We missed 1 hour of the catamaran. I’m not sure if they are aware of this upon booking, but it would appear so because we gave them all of the information ahead of time and we were one of the very first groups off of the cruise ship in anticipation of catching everything on time (same goes for another party of 11). The company offered a last minute private water boat to take us to the catamaran for 15 out of 19 people who were on our same boat from our cruise. We were lucky to connect and travel together from the cruise. The water taxi was a huge expense no one had planned on!! The only other option they stated was losing our money because they could not wait which was understandable for the other 4 passengers, but the woman on the phone was very short and not understanding at all. The private boat drivers who picked us up and found the catamaran were very kind. The staff on the catamaran were very kind and rearranged the route once so many of us were going to be late. The food was fantastic. Once we were on the catamaran everything was perfect! We still thought it was worth every penny and loved the experience, but wish we were told that the private water taxi was a possibility up front. Everything was gorgeous and there’s no better way to see Santorini! As a small side note, do not wear any white swim suits because the hot springs area will dye them red/brown. Maybe this can be added to the itinerary details somehow. Thank you again to the boat staff! The experience was wonderful and one we will not forget.

After reading that one of the top things to do in Santorini is to reserve a spot on a catamaran, we booked this one. There are several companies offering this type of boat ride, in Santorini. I chose this one for the positive reviews I read on it. The reason there are so many is because the staff pushes you to write one at the end of the tour! That being said, it was a nice excursion. My husband and I were picked up near our hotel in Oia. We were driven by bus with 18 other people to Fira to get on the boat. Advertised as a catamaran, which says SAILING to me, the sails never went up. It was pretty much a motorized boat. The best part of the trip was the staff: Olga and Leftise who made sure we had enough beverages and photos. And of course we are grateful to the captain who safely navigated us. Although the cruise lasted from 3pm-8:45, the boat did not go very far. I thought we would get closer to Oia but we docked in the next cove over. There were 3 opportunities for snorkeling. The water was really cold and the snorkeling was average but it was good to jump off the boat when it got hot. A full meal was prepared on the boat for us, including prawns cooked on a barbeque. That was pretty cool. The boat had two bathrooms and some areas for shade, always good to know. I spent a good deal of time on the net on the bow and enjoyed the rocking over the waves. I think this was worthwhile and definitely glad we did it. If we had more money, I think I would have booked a private boat ride but it was a good value for the cost. I would have preferred to have left from Oia and returned to Oia, if that was possible, so we could avoid the 30 minute bus ride.

This Catamaran tour lasted from 1430h pickup from hotel to about 2100h drop off back at hotel on June 12th 2024. Our group consisted of 18 people of varying ages. The crew and staff Captain Giannis, Natalie, Olga and Leuferis (Lef) were all amazing and very eager to provide the special experience we were hoping for on the Santorini Star Catamarans. Special shout out to Lef as he was the acting tour guide and fantastic conversationalist and photographer.
The tour consisted of bringing us to numerous beaches/coves/bays and explaining the importance and history of the surrounding landscape of Santorini. A stop at the hot springs was made as well as several other places where we could swim or snorkel as much as we desired.
On board they served Beer/Wine/Water and various soft drinks to guests. About 3/4 of the way through the trip a meal of Greek salad/mussels/Shrimp/Bread and chicken (as well as a few other things) was served by the staff. The views and site seeing were incredible and the sunset although partly obscured by clouds was breathtaking. All in all a 5 star rating is justified and I would recommend this to anyone wanting to see the beautiful island of santorini and surrounding area.
