Amazing guide/driver…Louise is awesome…super inclusive and personal, full of knowledge and those jokes!…the day trip, though long, had adequate comfort stops and great opportunities to experience the Scottish Highlands…

It was such a great trip! It does go for 12 hours so make sure you bring snacks! Steve was a wonderful tour guide who filled us in with some amazing facts and Histories. I loved his Scottish playlist ! The places were beautiful and we were lucky to have some Scottish sun! All in all it was a fabulous trip!
Cherie_C –
This tour was jam packed with stories and history and fun! There were great stops and definitely worth the price .
Karen_M –
This was a fantastic tour day! Our guide, Tom, was great – perfect blend of historical stories and insights, but also local music and down time on the bus. We got to take amazing photo opportunities; my favorite part was getting to feed a highland cow while listening to a bagpiper play!
Kate_B –
As our first time in Scotland with limited time, this was a fantastic tour with lots to see. Yes you are on the bus for long periods but it’s what you expect travelling upwards of 200 miles.
The stops were frequent enough for us and the tour guide was just right – chatting enough to learn historical facts but not too much when it’s a long day. Thanks for a great day, Greg!!
The coach was a little cramped but driving was great and music was fun!
Linda_S –
A long but perfect day! Sun shone but quite chilly! 578kms travelled. The most amazing scenery and stops along the way. All in comfort and with a commentary and history lesson from Steve our driver. Absolutely totally recommend this tour we booked with Viator. 10/10

Highlands and loch ness trip with Viator is wonderful. The guide/driver(Connor) is amazing in creating enthusiasm in travellers by telling the stories behind each place and revealed many untold stories. Trip was very good overall with travel, views & in between photo stops.

Krystle_O –
Connor was an amazing tour guide! So great! The sights were breathtaking. There is just enough time at each little stop for a snack and bathroom break, plus longer for lunch at Loch Ness.
Anshuman_J –
our bus driver cum commentator was boring .. couldnt explain things in more entertaining , short precise ways.. on the contrary, another driver that one took on the return journey (MID WAY) to Edinburgh was far better, stopping at the important points and making everyone on the bus have fun!
Rachael_B –
Our tour guide was fine but the bus trip was very uncomfortable. The bus was completely sold out, Seats were small, no room to move around, sitting for very long periods of time. There is not a rest room on the bus so most stops on the tour were focused on that. Which I understand but felt we saw very little of the highlands. Loche Ness was not as exciting as I’d expected for a 12+ hour day. I would find a shorter tour that focuses more in the highlands and with a smaller group.

Kieran and Connor were the absolute best! They shared personal anecdotes, historical facts, recommendations, and fun facts about the area. I haven’t this much fun and learned so much in a long time! My group was also very happy with their guiding, and we cannot recommend Kieran and Connor enough.
The entire trip was super enjoyable, as you make your way through the Highlands with frequent stops and plenty of time to rest, doze, and stretch your legs. It never felt rushed or uncomfortable, and I would go anywhere if Kieran and Connor were my guides. Funny, sweet, and knowledgeable!

This tour was great, the transportation was good, the stops were very timely and the sites were just beautiful. It was a long day but well worth it to see the highlands. The town is very quaint. I would recommend this tour.

Teigan was a fantastic driver and guide. She modeled great patience as well which was appreciated. Her knowledge was in depth and appreciated while her professional and caring approach made this a highlight of our stay!
Nicolle_K –
Our tour guide Connor was so funny, very knowledgeable, and punctual. The sites were amazing and the boat cruise was definitely worth it. The ride was kind of a roller coaster, so if you get motion sickness beware! The lunch was also not great, but there were opportunities to purchase alternative food along the way.

Our bus driver, Cliff, was amazing – he was very knowledgeable about the landscape and history, had fun stories & jokes, and even stopped the bus for us to get out and take photos of beautiful scenery. The Highlands were absolutely stunning… definitely worth every penny just for them. Lunch was simple, but yummy. We really enjoyed the Loch Ness boat ride – a fun way to search for Nessie. We recommend Viator to everyone and will definitely recommend this full-day trip to anyone visiting Scotland.
